Job summary

Schenk UK is recruiting an experienced Class 1 LGV Bitumen Driver for Ellesmere Port depot. The role is a Monday to Friday tramping shift, averaging 50 hours per week, with overtime opportunities.

You will hold a full LGV Class 1 licence with up to six points, a Driver CPC, ADR (all classes except 1 & 7), and tanker delivery experience. A tachograph card and strong safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold LGV Class 1 licence with up to six points.
• Experience delivering Bitumen in a tanker role.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• ADR licence for all classes except 1 & 7.

Responsibilities

• Based at Ellesmere Port depot; 50-hour Monday–Friday tramping shift.
• Overtime and night-out allowances available per the rate card.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Bitumen Driver to join our team based at Ellesmere Port depot, working 50 hours across a Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern.

Pay Rates:

• £19.50 per hour with 10 hour guarantee per shift
• £26.00 per hour overtime (applicable after 10 hours worked Monday-Friday)
• £26.00 per hour overtime for Saturday
• £32.50 per hour overtime for Sundays
• £32.50 per hour for worked hours on Bank Holidays (plus day in lieu)
• £34.00 per Night Out
• £4.15 meal payment per shift

Essential Requirements:

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
• Experience of delivering Bitumen
• A tachograph card
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• A safety focus
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• At least 2 years Tanker Experience

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
