Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Worsley on a permanent night-shift role. You will deliver products across the country on our BOC contract, operate a counterbalance FLT for loading/unloading, and complete full training provided by the company.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday nights, start between 5pm and 9pm, with regular weekend overtime. 40 hours per week plus overtime is typical.

Qualifications

• Hold an LGV Class 1 licence with minimal points (0-3).
• Driver CPC and tachograph card are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products nationwide on the BOC contract.
• Operate counterbalance FLT for loading/unloading (full training provided).
• Maintain safety standards and on-time deliveries.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Worsley.

Shift Pattern: - Monday to Friday NIGHTS – Start times between 5pm and 9pm – with regular weekend working and overtime.

40 hours per week plus overtime as and when required.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £16.34 per hour
• Plus, Overtime between £24.51 to £32.67 per hour

Vereisten

Essential Requirements

• A safety minded focus.
• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points
• A tachograph cards.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.
• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable, however full training can be provided.
