Job summary

Schenk UK is a national tanker haulage leader delivering chemicals, gas, fuels, and powders across the country. Based out of BOC Wolverhampton, this role involves night shifts on a permanent basis and loading/unloading with a counterbalance FLT.

You will transport products nationwide under the BOC contract, ensuring safety and compliance with transport legislation. Training is provided to support a successful driver.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 Licence with no more than three points.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Tachograph cards held by the driver.
• Strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the country on the BOC contract.
• Move compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and loading areas.
• Drive a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle; full training provided.
• Work Monday to Friday nights; start and finish times vary; permanent position.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Wolverhampton.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Nights, Start & finish times will vary.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.02 per hour
• Plus, Overtime between £25.53 to £34.04 per hour

Vereisten

Essential Requirements

• A safety minded focus.
• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points
• A tachograph cards.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.
• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable.
