Schenk UK is a leading national tanker haulage business in the UK, operating one of the largest road tanker fleets. We are seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our waste operations team at the Knostrop site, with Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday night shifts.

This permanent role offers competitive pay with a guaranteed 50 hours, overtime premiums, CPC training paid, and full PPE. You will work safely following Driver Transport Legislation and join a premier chemical transporter with

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence (max 6 points).
• Driver CPC and tachograph card required.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience.
• Vacuum tanker experience preferred (training provided).
• Strong knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate as LGV Class 1 driver for Schenk UK’s waste operations at the Knostrop site.
• Maintain compliance with Driver Transport Legislation and safety standards.
• Work a Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday night shift pattern.

We’re now seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our waste operations team at our Knostrop site, working a Monday to Friday or a Tuesday to Saturday - Night shift pattern.

Pay & Benefits

• £16.53 per hour (basic rate)
• Guaranteed 50 hours
• Overtime (Mon–Fri): £24.80/hr after 9 hours per shift
• Saturday overtime: £24.80/hr after 3 hours worked
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £33.06/hr after 3 hours worked
• Weekend working is part of the shift pattern (reflected in pay rates)
• Bank Holiday working also required (premium pay reflects unsocial hours)
• Fully paid breaks
• All CPC training hours, courses, accreditations & driver medicals paid
• Full PPE provided

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
