Job summary

St Peters CofE Academy is offering a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician Apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience supporting IT systems for staff and students, working with the helpdesk, and assisting with hardware and software maintenance across the Academy.

The programme includes online training, a dedicated tutor, and progression towards the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician qualification over 18 months, with an 8.00 GBP/hour rate and a typical 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above essential.
• Interest in IT and technology supporting staff and students.
• Basic understanding of networks and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for staff and students.
• Operate IT helpdesk and document issues.
• Assist in installing and maintaining hardware and software.
• Support online learning platforms and projects.
• Contribute to information security and backups.
