Job summary

haart Estate Agents in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Lettings Branch Manager to lead an established lettings office. You will drive growth, manage a high-performing team and build strong relationships with landlords and tenants.

The role offers on-target earnings of up to £60,000, a base salary of £22,000–£32,000 depending on experience, uncapped commission, and a company car or car allowance, with extensive progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher.
• Ability to build relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings.
• Excellent customer service and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lettings team meetings.
• Coach team to achieve KPI’s.
• Monitor performance through one-to-one meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Generate new and repeat business.
• Arrange property viewings and negotiate tenancies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

How you will make an impact as a Lettings Branch Manager at haart Estate Agents in Ipswich:

• Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
• Coaching the team to achieve KPI’s
• Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance (Including but not limited to conducting one-to-one meetings)
• Encourage your teams development and progression
• Strong focus on generating new and repeat business
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.

Essential Skills of a Lettings Branch Manager at haart Estate Agents:

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively with and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities and each other
• The ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
• The ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
• A strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
• Ability to manage time sensitive and high volume workloads
• A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Good telephone manner
• Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
• Attention to detail
