Zusammenfassung

Serco Leisure is recruiting on behalf of Shropshire Community Leisure Trust in Oswestry to hire a Duty Manager for a 9-month FTC, part-time 20.5 hours per week. Salary £15,424.68 plus benefits, with a mixture of earlies, lates and weekends on a 3-week rota.

You will lead daily operations, ensure safety and high service standards, and support customers while guiding staff and responding to incidents with confidence. This role contributes to healthier communities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a similar supervisory or duty management role.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer care and service excellence.
• Ability to lead and motivate colleagues while maintaining high operational standards.
• Confidence in decision-making, problem solving and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with customers and partners.

Aufgaben

• Manage the facility day-to-day, ensuring activities are delivered safely and to a high standard.
• Lead, deploy and support operational colleagues, ensuring duties are clearly allocated and completed effectively.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
• Respond confidently to emergency situations, taking control and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to continuous improvement through the use of performance data and key performance indicators.
