Job summary

Everybody Health and Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to help run our busy leisure centre in a safe, efficient and customer-focused way.

You will lead a shift, oversee day-to-day operations, manage bookings and liaise with teams to maintain high standards of service and safety, while contributing to our quality accreditations. The role offers a hands-on leadership position within a supportive community-focused charity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or operational role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading a team and making decisions.
• A proactive approach to maintaining safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure services run efficiently.
• Lead on shift and foster a customer-focused environment.
• Own health and safety, customer care and incident management.
• Manage bookings and support financial processes and procedures.
• Support accreditations such as Quest and Investors in People.
• Carry out site checks and maintain high operational standards.
