Legal Director - Commercial Property (8+ PQE) - Cheltenham

Location: Cheltenham (Flexible & Hybrid)

Salary: £95,000 to £120,000

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading UK law firm in their search for a senior Commercial Property Lawyer (8+ PQE) to join their nationally recognised Real Estate team in Cheltenham. This is a strategic appointment within one of the largest and most respected commercial property departments in the country, offering the opportunity to lead on high-value transactions and shape the future of the team.

The Role

This leadership role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects
  • Managing transactions across city-centre and rural locations, including retail, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors
  • Providing strategic legal and commercial advice to clients
  • Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
  • Driving business development and cross-selling initiatives
  • Collaborating across the wider Real Estate and Planning teams
Qualifications

This role is suited to a senior commercial property lawyer with:

  • 8+ years PQE in commercial property law
  • Strong technical ability and drafting skills
  • Proven experience managing complex transactions and client relationships
