Job summary

A leading global technology firm is seeking a Legal Counsel based in London to support their EMEA operations. The role involves providing commercial legal support, advising on intellectual property and regulatory matters, and collaborating on new product initiatives. Ideal candidates will be qualified lawyers with a minimum of 3 years of experience, a pragmatic approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.

A global technology and digital content organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to support their expanding EMEA operations.

Based in London with office working, this role is suited to a commercially focused lawyer who enjoys advising on complex, fast-moving business initiatives in an international environment.

The Role:
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to the business teams, acting as a trusted advisor on commercial and regulatory matters
  • Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, brand usage, and licensing arrangements
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and evolving legal frameworks impacting digital products and services
  • Support new product launches and strategic initiatives in collaboration with legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Work closely with international counterparts on cross-border projects
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified lawyer with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Background in commercial, technology, regulatory, IP, licensing & copyright matters
  • Pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach with strong judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Able to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Additional European language skills are advantageous
