The expanding School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy (SAHP&P) at Keele University is seeking a creative Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) or Psychology Lecturer.
Internationally recognised for offering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision, SAHP&P offers a range of pre-registration AHP programmes. As a TEF Gold institution, Keele University is renowned for its exciting approach to higher education and post-holders will join, and be supported by, an experienced group of over 100 enthusiastic academic staff.
The successful candidate will deliver the psychology strand that exists across the several modules within the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) programmes, including aspects of typical language acquisition, developmental, social and cognitive psychology. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the research methods teaching across the programme and to the development of further SLT provision. We would particularly welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists or psychologists with an interest in this area.
We welcome applications from individuals with expertise relevant to communication and language, including typical language acquisition, developmental and cognitive psychology.
You will have qualifications in either Speech and Language Therapy or developmental psychology. If you are a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be a member of the HCPC.
