Job summary

The District CofE Primary School is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support learning across English and mathematics and assist with lessons designed by teachers. The role requires strong communication, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils in a warm school environment.

Experience in covering teacher non-contact time and maintaining routines will be highly valued.

Qualifications

A Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in leading whole classes or delivering planned lessons to cover teacher non-contact time.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour, maintain routines and support pupils across English, maths and the broader curriculum.
Exceptional communication skills, flexibility and a resilient, collaborative approach.
