Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with KS2 pupils, especially Year 4.
• Ability to support learning in English and Maths.
• Strong organisational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support in class or withdrawal situations, either 1:1 or in small groups.
• Plan and prepare, under the teacher’s direction, to teach small groups of children, including those new to English.
• Be flexible and adaptable and work as part of a whole-school team.
• Support pupils in the playground and encourage interactive play.
• Forge positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
