Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks a Learning Support Assistant to join the Schools and PVP Department at Slough and Langley College campuses. This full-time, term-time role runs until early July 2027, with 37 hours per week over 38 weeks.

Salary is pro rata between G17 and G19 scales, dependent on qualifications and experience. You will support classes, small groups or individuals, assist with learning activities, and help students build confidence and independence while adhering to

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE 4/C or above).
• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Understanding of supporting neurodivergent learners and those with additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities.
• Support students to overcome physical, emotional and learning barriers.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, Maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment as required.
