Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Schools and PVP Department at our Slough and Langley College campus on a full time, term time only basis.

This fixed-term role runs until the beginning of July 2027 and is paid on Scale G of the Support Staff pay scale offering a pro rata salary of 21,737.99 (G17) up to 23,274.31 (G19). The full time equivalent would be 25,483 (G17) up to 27,284 (G19).

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths minimum at grade 4/C or above.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to varying department needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of young people.
• Experience with neurodivergent learners desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support whole classes, small groups or individual students as required.
• Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities.
• Help students overcome barriers in learning, including AE/EBP needs.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records; adapt learning materials.
