Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant for our Slough and Langley campuses. The role is 30 hours per week during 37 term-time weeks per year, on the Support Staff pay scale with pro-rata salary.

You will support whole classes, groups, or individuals, in line with EHCPs, reporting to the Head of Department and working with senior academic staff.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE A–C or equivalent).
• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet the physical demands of the post.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
• Help students overcome barriers to learning (physical, emotional, or cognitive).
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, mathematics, and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour, maintain confidential records, and adapt learning materials.
• Support use of specialist equipment and work across departments as needed.
