Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Schools and PVP Department at our Slough and Langley College campuses on a full-time, term-time basis. The role involves supporting students with learning activities, assessments, and skill development.

The successful candidate will assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of lessons, support individuals with learning difficulties, and work across departments.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
• Experience or qualifications supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.
• Ability to work across departments and adapt to college policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Help students overcome learning barriers and support EHCP requirements.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, mathematics and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
• Provide support across whole classes, small groups or individuals as needed.
