Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Schools and PVP department at Slough and Langley College on a full-time, term-time basis. The role is fixed-term until early July 2027, working 37 hours per week across 38 weeks per year and paying pro-rata from £21,737.99 to £23,274.31 (G17–G19).

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Evidence of Level 2 qualifications.
• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Ability to support neurodivergent learners and those with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities.
• Support whole classes, groups or individual students in line with EHCPs.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English/Maths/ICT skills.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
