Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join the Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley campuses. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week over 37 weeks per year, with a pro-rata salary.

You will support whole classes, small groups or individuals, helping to develop English, mathematics and ICT skills, monitor behaviour, and assist with EHCP compliance. Experience with learners with additional needs is valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Support whole classes, small groups or individual students.
• Help with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
