Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Active Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture, Maidenhead. The role is full time, term-time only, and paid on the G scale with pro-rata adjustments.

You will support learners across classes and groups, assist with planning and delivery of activities, and help students with English, maths and ICT while adhering to safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to support learners.
• Experience with young adults, ideally in education.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work across departments or remotely online if needed.
• Qualifications or experience supporting learners with autism, ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve goals.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
