Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus in Maidenhead. The role is full-time, term-time only, 37 hours per week over 37 weeks, with a pro-rata salary on the G scale.

You will support classes, small groups or individual students, assisting with planning, delivery and evaluation of activities and helping students access the curriculum. A positive attitude and relevant support experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications (GCSE English and Maths) or equivalent.
• Experience working with young adults in education.
• Ability to work across departments or remotely online if necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and proactive approach.
• Adhere to safeguarding and college policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
• Help students overcome physical, emotional, or learning boundaries.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, mathematics, and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
