A leading education provider in the South-East is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for their Construction Department. Overview

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Construction Department at Slough & Langley College on a Term-Time Only basis.

Learning Support Assistant – Construction

This role requires you to work 37 hours per week Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (16:30 on Fridays) for 37 term time weeks per year.

Responsibilities
  • Enable students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.
  • Work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
  • Support whole classes, work with individuals and small groups of learners, assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Collaborate with pastoral and welfare staff to support students to overcome learning, physical or emotional barriers.
