Job description

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with a good sense of humour and a friendly approach to join our lively staff team as soon as possible. You will provide support either to a child on a one-to-one basis, or with a small group of pupils. You will also be required to undertake Midday Supervisor (MDS) duties during the pupils’ lunchtime break. Training and support will be provided as required. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) and Classteacher. Further details are provided in the Job Description.

We are ideally looking for someone to work five full days a week. However, applications are also invited from candidates who are able to offer a different work pattern.

LSA roles are paid on Surrey SP4 pay range (£24,275 per annum, Full Time Equivalent). MDSs are paid on Surrey SP1/2 (£22,919 per annum, Full Time Equivalent). Indicative pay for five full days a week on a term time only basis is £18,243 per annum. Actual pay will be dependent on individual timetabled hours, and the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
