About the role

Vision for Education are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive, forward thinking primary School in the Huntingdone area. You will be working with children with a variety of special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.

About the school

This primary school is warm and welcoming. You will join a team of committed Teaching Assistants who support the children and prioritise the inclusion of all learners. This role will involve a mix of working with children in class and some time out of the classroom.

This role is temporary-to-permanent, after a successful period there may be the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

This is a large, forward thinking school with supportive staff and a warm, welcoming environment.

Requirements
  • Have experience of working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum)
  • Have a calm and supportive approach to those children who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Be willing to take the time to build trusting relationships with the children you work with
  • Regard behaviour as a means of communication and take time to understand pupils motivations
  • Help create a supportive and safe school environment
  • Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Have experience of working with children with SEND

Salary

£89 to £95 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
