Hours: 1 x 36 Hours nights
Salary: £12.61 per hour +£1 night enhancement
Location: Ellesmere Port
This role is open to Female applicants only as requested by our female residents to ensure the comfort and dignity who require personal care
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work across two of our disability-supported living services in Ellesmere Port - Guernsey House and Park Drive.
Guernsey House is home to four women in their 20s who each use wheelchairs, two of whom are non-verbal and communicate with Makaton, and they all have a shared passion for fashion, beauty, shopping, and coffee trips. Then, Park Drive is home to two men and a lady with diverse needs who each enjoy a range of hobbies and engaging in their local community. We're seeking team members who can share in these individuals' passions and provide support with a keen of fun and motivation.
As a Learning Disability Support Worker, no two days are alike - much like the diverse individuals we support. Our approach revolves around person-centered planning, tailoring our services to suit the distinct requirements of each person we support. We are deeply committed to working towards positive outcomes for every individual, celebrating even the smallest milestones on their journey to personal growth. As a Support Worker, you'll be equipped with comprehensive training to provide a wide range of assistance, including personal care, behavioural support, fostering independence and confidence, and nurturing positive relationships through effective communication.
