At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing apprenticeship provider for a passionate Multi‑Skills Learning Coach to join their dynamic team.

This is a full-time, on‑site Multi‑Skills Learning Coach role, offering the opportunity to inspire and support 16‑21‑year‑old learners as they progress through their Foundation Apprenticeship in construction trades. You will help them build the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to succeed in their first job role while working closely with employers.

What you will be doing
  • Coach and motivate apprentices aged 16‑21 to develop practical skills in Brickwork, Carpentry & Joinery, and Plastering.
  • Deliver engaging lessons to small groups (approx. 10 learners) on fundamental trade techniques such as mixing cement, cutting, and tool management.
  • Manage a caseload of Level 2 learners on Foundation Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Provide on‑site support to learners at their employers, helping them settle into their first job role.
  • Monitor, mark, and give constructive feedback on assignments and apprenticeship tasks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support End‑Point Assessments, ensuring learners are fully prepared.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, funding requirements, and Ofsted standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, achievement, and learner engagement.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employers to support learner progression and generate new opportunities.
  • Deliver Maths and English support where required to meet learner achievement goals.
What we are looking for
  • Experience in construction trades such as brickwork, carpentry/joinery, or plastering.
  • Up‑to‑date industry knowledge and practical experience.
  • Health & Safety awareness and understanding of industry standards.
  • Previous experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring in construction or multi‑skills environments.
  • Willingness to work towards relevant teaching/coaching qualifications if not already held.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
  • Passion for developing others and sharing knowledge.
Desirable
  • Coaching or Assessor qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33).
  • Knowledge of government‑funded training and apprenticeship standards.
