Job summary

Marshall Skoda Canterbury is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead a busy service workshop and motivate a team of technicians. You will manage workload, ensure high-quality work and maintain brand standards across daily operations.

The role requires strong IT skills, experience with EVHC software, and a customer-centric approach. It is a full-time position at 45 hours per week, including Saturday mornings on a rota.

Qualifications

• Experience as Workshop Controller or similar in a franchised dealership environment.
• Proven ability to motivate a team and manage workload efficiently.
• Strong IT skills, preferably with EVHC software experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate technicians to meet daily workshop demands.
• Allocate job cards and balance workloads to maximise productivity.
• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets brand standards and drive service efficiency.
• Oversee workshop solutions and service booking systems.
• Provide excellent customer service in person or over the phone.
