Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Bolton is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead a team of technicians, ensuring high service standards and efficient workshop operations.

This is a full-time role (45 hours/week, Mon-Fri) with a salary of £36,675 basic and £45,675 OTE, plus 25 days of holiday, life assurance and a pension. You will manage job cards, workload, and quality checks, while supporting the Service Advisor team and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally from a franchised dealership environment.
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain a professional, calm approach.
• Proficient IT skills, preferably with EVHC software experience.
• Problem-solving mindset to anticipate and resolve operational barriers.
• Commitment to delivering great results and a supportive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands.
• Allocate job cards and manage technicians' workloads to maximise productivity.

At Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Bolton, we're seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to motivate and manage a team of technicians while ensuring great service delivery and efficiency in the operations.

• You'll lead, manage and motivate a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands.
• You'll allocate job cards and manage technicians' workloads to maximise productivity.
• You'll have quality checks to ensure all work meets brand standards and drive service success through effective time management.
• You'll oversee technical workshop solutions including EVHC and service booking systems.
