Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz Winchester is seeking a Workshop Controller to lead a busy service workshop and motivate a team of technicians to meet daily demands.

You will allocate job cards, manage workloads and ensure quality checks meet brand standards while driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis, offering a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Controller, ideally from a franchised dealership.
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain a professional, calm approach.
• Proficient IT skills, preferably with EVHC software experience.
• Problem-solving mindset to anticipate and resolve operational barriers.
• Committed to delivering great results and a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of qualified and apprentice technicians to meet daily workshop demands.
• Allocate job cards and manage technicians’ workloads to maximise productivity.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets brand standards and drive service success through time management.
• Oversee technical workshop solutions including EVHC and service booking systems.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone, supporting the Service Advisor team as required.
