Job summary

BAM Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead PAS 128 utility surveys in the UK. You will manage projects from inception to completion, utilise GPS, GPR, and total stations, and deliver accurate surveys and reports to clients.

The role requires strong communication skills, safety focus, and the ability to work with clients, site teams, and office staff. Travel to projects nationwide is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering utility surveys to PAS 128 standards.
• Knowledge of TSA standards and utility detection methods.
• Proficient with GPR, EM locating and modern survey equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish to high standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Operate surveying equipment including total stations, GPS, and GPR.
• Record underground assets and prepare PAS 128 outputs.
• Maintain client relationships and assist in project quotes.
