Job summary

BAM Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead PAS 128 utility surveys, capture data with GPR, GPS and total stations, and post‑process outputs for clients. You will help grow the utility surveying service, develop standards, and work with project teams across multiple offices.

The role demands strong communication, safety focus, and the ability to travel to projects nationwide; leadership experience is preferred and a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PAS 128 utility surveys.
• Strong knowledge of PAS 128, TSA and industry standards.
• Proficient in surveying technologies including GPR, GPS, and total stations.
• Ability to deliver accurate 2D/3D outputs and management of project teams.
• Clean manual driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish with high standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Use modern surveying methods and equipment.
• Record underground assets and generate PAS 128 outputs.
• Mentor junior surveyors and manage client relationships.
