Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Lead Supportability Engineer to lead a team delivering a wide range of analyses across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Operations and IPTs to advise on requirements and guide design decisions through reliability, maintainability and safety analyses.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
• Worked in industry, defence or have other relevant experience.
• Strong experience of leading and developing teams
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Experience in engineering management and delivery of project work packages
• Ability to manage complex situations with sound judgement and the ability to balance conflicting challenges

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supportability Engineers delivering diverse work packages.
• Advise on Supportability requirements with IPT and project managers.
• Develop and lead reliability analyses and models with cross-discipline teams.
• Perform reliability testing and simulation, including FMECA/RGT/HALT.
• Conduct maintainability analyses and Maintenance Task Analysis.
• Perform testability analyses and contribute to hazard and safety inputs.
• Support production and in-service analyses (FRACAS) to identify root causes.
