Leonardo is seeking a Lead Supportability Engineer to guide a team through a full lifecycle, from bid to customer support, across multiple engineering disciplines including electronics, mechanical, and systems.

You will drive reliability, maintainability and safety analyses, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with IPTs to optimize cost and risk while improving processes and methods.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of Supportability Engineers on diverse work packages.
• Advise on Supportability requirements with IPTs and project managers.
• Develop reliability models for electronic, power, RF, digital and mechanical systems.
• Create reliability growth plans and corrective actions from testing and simulation.
• Perform Maintainability analysis from modular to system level, including human factors.
• Carry out FMECA analyses with hardware engineers to assess fault detection.
• Analyze product safety with cross-functional teams and contribute to Hazard Log and Fault Tree Analysis.
• Analyse production data (FRACAS) to identify root causes and plan corrective actions.
• Contribute to development of In-Service Support strategy and through-life cost modelling.
• Support lifecycle milestones to schedule and budget and ensure technical quality.
• Provide input into Life Cycle Management reviews.
• Collaborate with IPT to reduce cost and risk and promote improved methods.
• Chair Sector Project Cost Review Boards (PCRBs).
