Job summary
Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Supportability Engineer in Basildon to drive through-life supportability across complex systems within the Integrated Sensors & Protection (ISP) team. You will lead supportability analyses, apply AR&M methodologies, and collaborate with electronics, mechanical and systems engineers to deliver maintainable, affordable solutions.

Qualifications
- Experience in support design reviews and customer meetings; communicating AR&M and supportability.
- Experience in ILS on mission-critical programmes; aware of Defence Logistics Framework and Def Stan 00-600.
- Understanding across ILS methods: supportability analysis, software support, safety, supply, maintenance, progressive assurance.
Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to a variety of Supportability analysis tasks.
- Develop understanding of through-life costing principles.
- Tailor programmes to applicable standards and guidance.
- Apply Supportability tools effectively.
- Contribute to team tasks and outputs.
- Work closely with other disciplines daily.
- Produce work independently with sound judgement.
- Support and develop other team members.
- Identify problems and propose solutions.
- Peer-review colleagues' work.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
