Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the IP - Infrastructure Platform to influence resiliency design and mentor engineers. You will lead major incident response, break complex problems into actionable work, and provide technical guidance across multiple domains.

You will champion reliability, implement data-driven improvements, and drive AI-assisted workflows to improve service levels while ensuring security and compliance in a global enterprise.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security and enterprise architecture best practices.
• Fluent in at least one programming language: Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted recommendations for correctness and risk, with proper guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Champions site reliability culture and shares knowledge via internal forums and communities.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics; identifies bottlenecks.
• Collaborates with the team to set service level objectives and error budgets with stakeholders.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate major-incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Acts as the main contact during major incidents to resolve issues quickly and minimize financial impact.
• Provides senior guidance and mentorship to engineers across domains.
• Leads AI-assisted reliability workflows across CI/CD, tests, and operational readiness with traceability and security controls.
