Job summary

National Highways is strengthening its Digital Services function with a Lead Service Manager role. This Agile-delivery-first position leads DevSecOps initiatives within Infrastructure & Platforms, guiding end-to-end delivery from concept through to handover.

The role includes managing a senior service delivery manager, coordinating with a third-party supplier, and steering strategic cloud roadmaps for the organisation. Hybrid work with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (e.g. MS Azure, AWS).
• Proven ability to lead a DevSecOps delivery team to meet sprint goals.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Azure DevOps (ADO) principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic outcomes using the DevSecOps capability within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from scoping and governance to funding and delivery.
• Manage budget for the DevSecOps practice and third-party suppliers.
• Provide direction on tools and methods to meet user needs and business goals.
