Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Lead Supportability Engineer in the United Kingdom to lead a multi-disciplinary team across the full lifecycle from bid to customer support. You will drive reliability, maintainability and testability analyses, collaborating with Systems, Electronics, Mechanical, Software and Quality teams.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, mentoring junior engineers, and developing best practices to reduce costs and risk across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in a high-stakes engineering environment.
• Strong background in Reliability/Maintainability/Testability analysis.
• Ability to develop and implement life-cycle support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supportability Engineers delivering analysis work packages.
• Advise on Supportability requirements and provide guidance to IPT and project teams.
• Develop reliability models and testing plans across electronic, power, RF, digital and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with cross-department colleagues to identify issues before production or customer delivery.
