Role Title: Lead Project Manager

Role Purpose:
Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various Rolls Royce sites. Ensure projects meet Integral & Rolls Royce standards regarding health, safety, quality, cost, and programme, while complying with current CDM legislation, MS18, and CSO6 standards. Qualifications in a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or building fabric are required.
Lead Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage projects with values between £50k and £15m across Rolls Royce sites in Derby.
- Provide health and safety leadership to site delivery teams, promote safety improvements, and ensure proper reporting of KPIs, near misses, accidents, and incidents.
- Act as the primary contact for Project Managers, ensuring they have necessary resources and information for project delivery.
- Set objectives for team members, mentor, coach, and manage performance.
- Support risk management processes, establish controls, and contribute to quotations and estimates.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance company reputation.
- Keep accurate records of work and expenditure, and approve timesheets and expenses.
- Build and lead new project teams for new workstreams, coordinating with Project Managers on resource levels.
- Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager to ensure designs are robust, economic, and constructible.
- Ensure projects comply with MS18, CS06, and delivery programmes, seeking feedback for quality improvement.
- Lead teams to meet management expectations, supporting team development and performance.
- Ensure project quality, standards compliance, and defect-free completion.
- Deliver post-completion documentation such as final accounts and maintenance information on time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, ideally as a Lead Project Manager.
- Experience working in occupied buildings/campuses (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and standards across multiple sites.
- Experience in preparing quotations and estimates.
- Construction-related qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
- Certifications: SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS, First Aid.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Fieldview, or similar software.
- Understanding of programming techniques; experience with Asta, Microsoft Projects, or Primavera is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
