Job summary

Boots UK is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service in Swansea, triaging patients, coaching the team and providing expert technical advice on medicines.

You'll be registered with a pharmacy regulator, lead a dispensary team, use pharmacy systems, manage stock and safety, and support pre-employment checks. Boots offers benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• A genuine excitement for coaching and leading a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to improve outcomes for teams, customers and patients.
• Desire to deliver services and outstanding patient care.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Delivering services tailored to store needs.
• Coaching and inspiring the pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality care.
• Assisting with patient triage and handling prescription handouts.
• Owning legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Managing stock replenishment, workload, orders, and handling controlled drugs with safety.
