Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to lead a dispensary team in a busy community pharmacy on the high street. You will provide expert advice, triage patients, coach the team, and ensure safe, legal medicines supply while delivering outstanding patient care.

You will build strong relationships with local healthcare professionals, support store colleagues, and participate in service development to expand patient access to therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Deliver services based on store needs.
• Build strong relationships with the pharmacy team and coach them to high standards.
• Assist with triage of patients and distributing prescription handouts.
• Own legal and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, and controlled drugs handling with patient safety.
• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC/PSNI/PSI).
• Lead and motivate the dispensary team for service excellence.
• Communicate clearly and stay organized.
• Drive improvements for teams, customers and patients.
