Job summary
Asda is seeking a Lead Manager for Online Grocery Trading to drive the performance and growth of its online grocery business. You will oversee a multi-billion-pound online sales plan across Food and General Merchandise, ensuring a seamless customer experience while maximising commercial results.
You will lead trading across key categories, partner with suppliers, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver growth, optimise events, and improve conversion.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial and trading mindset with ability to decide quickly.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across functions and suppliers.
- Data-driven approach with ability to turn performance insights into actions.
- Experience using reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI, Adobe Analytics or similar platforms.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and optimise online trading plans to drive sales growth and performance.
- Lead the execution of key business events and promotional activity across Asda.com.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Data & Insights, Product, Operations and external partners to deliver objectives.
- Partner with suppliers to maximise online opportunities and revenue growth.
- Enhance the online customer journey and overall shopping experience.
- Monitor and analyse trading performance, identifying opportunities to improve key metrics.
- Support the development of new tools, processes and ways of working that improve team efficiency.
