Job summary

Mott MacDonald seeks a Senior Land Referencing and Advisory Specialist to lead land referencing, land assembly, and strategic advisory work on infrastructure and development projects. You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with senior leadership across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading land referencing and land assembly on infrastructure or development projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong project management, budget oversight, and resource coordination.
• Experience in client-facing roles and external stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCOs), hybrid Bills, or Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs).
• Understanding of Statutory Processes, Land Referencing, and Land & Property industry.

Responsibilities

• Extensive stakeholder co-ordination with the public, property owners, resident associations, land agents, local authorities and solicitors.
• Collaborate with GIS & Mapping team to interpret spatial data and produce Land Ownership and Access Plans.
• Produce and quality-check statutory notices, access agreements, and access plans.
• Engage with affected land owners.
• Manage the production of the Book of Reference, Land Plans, and associated documents.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports; client interfacing.
• Team management and leadership; represent the company in professional networks.
