Job summary

A leading UK healthcare provider is seeking a Consultant in Gastroenterology to join their dynamic department. The role involves delivering endoscopy lists and contributing to patient care within a fast-paced environment. Applicants should possess an MRCP and have experience in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. The position is based at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital with a salary range of £109,725 to £145,478. This role requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Accredited in both General Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Broad experience in General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Experience and competence in OGD and colonoscopy – JAG accredited.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 6 general endoscopy lists per week.
• Manage outpatient endoscopy activities.
• Participate in MDT meetings.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lead a team

Teaching experience

Experience in OGD and colonoscopy

Education

CCT or equivalent

MRCP or equivalent

Full GMC registration

Higher degree (e.g. PhD or MD)
