EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer for UK offices. This hands-on role includes leadership responsibilities, designing and building AI agents and automation tools, and providing technical oversight across projects.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into technical deliverables. The position emphasizes governance, AI risk assessment, information security, and end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an AI developer/engineer with a strong project portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Git/version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and automation tools for complex problems.
• Design AI solutions across projects, including orchestration layers.
• Decide between low-code and pro-code approaches.
• Create cloud native AI solutions and integrate new offerings.
