Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to design and implement AI agents and automation tools. You will work on end-to-end delivery, building LLM agents, prompts, and integrations with enterprise systems across the Power Platform and cloud services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross‑functional teams, strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, and hands-on experience with AI tooling, data analysis, and scalable software design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AI developer or in a similar role with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control.
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy and SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse).
• Basic cloud computing understanding (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve problems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompts and retrieval.
• Test agent behaviour and handle non-deterministic outputs.
• Develop solutions across Power Platform with lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and their AI services.
• Work through full delivery lifecycle: design, develop, test, and production.
• Support live products and triage defects with real users.
• Document code and processes for maintainability; participate in code reviews.
