Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our UK team. You will design and build AI agents and automation tools that drive business innovation.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, orchestration of LLM agents, and integration with enterprise systems via APIs while navigating EY governance and security frameworks. Candidates should have a strong AI background, Python/TypeScript skills, and experience with Power Platform, cloud platforms, and modern software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/AI or related field.
• Proven AI development experience with project portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Git and version control knowledge.
• Strong algorithms and data structures understanding.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/Pages/Dataverse).
• Cloud basics and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS understanding.
• Knowledge of cloud AI services.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork.
• Good communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop AI agents and automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents with prompt design and retrieval.
• Test agent behaviour including handling uncertainty.
• Configure Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Automate, Pages, Dataverse).
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud native skills on Azure and AWS.
• Support full delivery lifecycle from design to production.
• Triage defects with live products and users.
• Work within AI risk, security reviews, DLP and licensing.
• Conduct data analysis to support AI development.
• Stay updated with AI advancements and apply to projects.
• Document code and processes for maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
