Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Developer to join our AI and automation team in the UK. You will design, develop and deploy AI agents and automation tools that solve business problems and enable innovation across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Power Platform integration, and a full delivery lifecycle from design to production. Strong programming, data analysis, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field.
• Proven experience as an AI developer with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy and SQL.
• Experience with Power Platform including Power Apps/Automate/Pages/Dataverse.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.
• Knowledge of cloud AI services.
• Strong problem-solving and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop AI agents and automation tools to solve complex problems and improve processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Build and orchestrate LLM agents, including prompts, grounding, and structured outputs.
• Test agent behaviour and handle uncertain outputs.
• Build and configure solutions across Power Platform with lifecycle management.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise systems via APIs (Graph, REST, SQL, SharePoint).
• Develop cloud-native skills on Azure and AWS and understand their AI services.
• Work through full delivery lifecycle from design to production and support live products.
