Job summary

Overview

Vallum Associates are currently partnered with a client to staff a commissioning team for an Energy From Waste Plant in England. Lead DCS Commissioning Engineer.

Expectation / Requirements
  • Candidate should be experienced in the Valmet DCS (DNA and DNAe) which is installed at site, so they understand its construction and operation. Candidate should be experienced in distributed control systems and the associated networks, remote I / O and Vendor package interfaces.
  • The lead DCS commissioning engineer will work closely with the lead I&C commissioning engineer to ensure all aspects of the control system from the field device to the operator screens are functional and operate as described in the functional descriptions.
  • They will be able to maintain commissioning progress in line with project requirements and attend meetings to offer technical support with both on site teams and Vendors.
  • Experience in commissioning on EFW, Biomass or conventional power plants is desirable.
Details

Contract : January 2026 - April 2027

Schedule : 5 days a week 10 hours a day, During Hot commissioning 10 days on 4 days off.

Outside IR35 - All in Daily Rate
