Qualifications

  • Valid and up-to-date professional qualification in health or therapy.
  • Experience supporting therapy teams is highly desirable.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the needs of EHCP plans within our clinical practice.
  • Coordinate the line management of the onsite clinical team.
  • Lead service development of the clinical school-based service.
  • Provide clear reports on clinical and research activities.
  • Supervise and support the therapy team.
  • Collaborate with multi-professional teams in the setting.

Lead Clinician

Location: Longdon Hall School - Staffordshire WS15 4PT

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 FTE dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full‑time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

Responsibilities
  • Meet the needs of EHCP plans, target led via the OFG 'all', 'group' and 'individual' clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice.
  • Coordinate the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team.
  • Lead on the service development of the clinical school‑based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
  • Provide clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
  • Provide supervision and support to a therapy team.
  • Work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service.
  • Work collaboratively with multi‑professional teams or services within the designated setting.
Qualifications
  • Allied health professional qualification or Psychotherapy/Clinical Psychology/Counselling Qualification, valid and up to date.
  • Professional Registration & membership of relevant professional body (e.g. BPS).
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
