Job summary

Riverside Group is seeking a Deputy Manager in Middleton to lead a supported living service. The role requires motivating teams, ensuring compassionate, dignified customer care, and maintaining CQC standards at all times.

The Deputy Manager will oversee service delivery, develop strategic plans, and ensure effective operation and reporting within a busy care environment, in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a CQC registered supported living or extra care services environment.
• Experience leading a team in challenging environments with ability to prioritise tasks to achieve results.
• Experience reviewing, monitoring and evaluating outcomes in the delivery of a CQC registered service.
• Competent IT skills including databases, reports and communications.
• Experience producing statutory submissions and analysing key outcomes data to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clearly defined outcomes and meet targets in line with commissioned contracts.
• Contribute to Riverside’s Corporate Plan and ensure objectives are delivered.
• Model and adapt services to meet changing customer demand and needs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to position Riverside as the preferred provider.
• Develop new and existing services with Business Development to drive growth.
• Lead a team of managers, set performance targets and conduct regular reviews.
• Ensure safe, person‑centred services, with health, safety, safeguarding and GDPR compliance.
• Produce reports and financial information to support contract development and delivery.
